About the Event
International Bridgwater
We have a rich cultural mix of people here in Bridgwater and we wanted to showcase this along with their culinary heritage. We would like to invite you to come along to learn something new about different countries and different cultures.
You can come to our cafe at 7pm and relax whilst a cook from another country prepares you a traditional dish from their Motherland. You will have a chance to ask questions, watch how things are prepared and then taste something you may never have tasted before.
While you enjoy the delicious food, you can listen to a talk on the country we are showcasing and learn all kinds of things that perhaps you didn't know before: language, history, food, music, dance, costume and other interesting things about our neighbours in the local community.
We hope this is a great way to bring the community together and each event will be a lovely informal way to experience new things, meet new people and try new foods.
